U 17 Irish Cup Dramatic Win

Tuam Celtic U17 pulled of a major upset when they beat premier division leaders Salthill Devon 4 3 in the Irish Cup on Thursday night; In a game of great quality Celtic came from behind on three occasions with a brace from Graham Fallon and Donal Cunningham wonder goal; The game seemed destined for extra time until substitute 16 year old Connor ONeill fired home the winner two minutes from time;
The 12a team suffered a defeat at home to Oranmore as did the U12c team to Kiltullagh;
The U12b teams first home game ended with a very comfortable 6 1 victory over Kinvara; Celtic went a goal up after five minutes after a fine passing move ended with Emanuel O scoring his first of the game he added a second and a brace from CJ made it 4 0 at half time; Kinvara pulled a goal back early in the second half and may of had another but a brilliant penalty save by stand in keeper Alex Duffy kept them at bay; The game was wrapped up in the final minutes with goals from Taylor Walsh and Connor Munnelly;
The U14 team rarely have bad days but suffered a heavy defeat away to Knocknacarra;
The U15s advanced into the second round of the SFAI Cup winning 3 2 away at Moyne Villa; Ethan Walsh scooped the man of the match award with a fine hatrick other notable performances coming from Darragh Creavan Shane Kelly Connor Halbard Connor Higgins and Connor ODonnell;
